“My name is Talia Welsh and I studied Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy at a previous institution in 2013. Natalie Stevens was my teacher in make up, waxing and facials; and Robyn Bartley was my massage teacher.
As a teacher, Natalie was always organised, thorough and patient with each of us. There was never a question or situation too big or small that Natalie could not handle. I was always confident being taught by Natalie as she always inspired and encouraged us to be better in everything we did. I could always rely on her to show me easier ways to remember things. When it came to assessment time, I knew that Natalie would always grade me fairly and lovingly based on the way I approached each individual client. If the opportunity were to arise, I would not hesitate to work under Natalie as I know she would be a very caring and understanding employer.
Robyn was a fantastic teacher. She always had so much knowledge on the different areas of massage and would always help you with anything you needed. It was nice to be under Robyn's supervision because she trusted that we would do a great job of each treatment and was open to suggestions that we could make about improving or changing anything. If I was ever having a hard day or feeling down, Robyn would always be there to cheer me up or take the time to chat about anything. I would not pick any other person to teach me massage because Robyn was just perfect for the job. She really is a strong and loving teacher, no matter what.
Both Natalie and Robyn have big beautiful hearts and I have no doubts at all about them continuing to teach and train others. When it came to theory, both Natalie and Robyn would always back their teachings up with stories to help us understand the concept of each topic. I am confident still to this day that everything they have taught me will help me with my career for years to come.
Because of Natalie and Robyn I am now a qualified beauty therapist and I would not have it any other way.
Thank you so very much again for being so wonderful as teachers and as friends.”
